An Announcement for All web3.unity Users: Project Registration

Authored by Colin Adams

Following our announcement a few months back of web3.unity v2, we are sending out a friendly reminder to everyone in the CSG community. In order to continue using our SDK, it's necessary to update to at least version 1.6+ and register your project before June 15, 2023.

Don't Forget Your Project ID!

A reminder to all our users: having a valid project ID is essential to avoid any service interruptions. This unique identifier is what links your project to our SDK, enabling you to access all its features and services.

If you are new to this or need help procuring a project ID, don't worry! We've got you covered. To make things easier, we have put together a comprehensive tutorial to guide you through the process. You can find it on our documentation page: Project ID Tutorial.

As our software continues to evolve, we strive to provide you with the best tools and features to make your development process smooth. All these processes are steps in that direction, designed to offer superior performance, stability, and compatibility.

Remember, in the rapidly changing world of blockchain technology, staying up-to-date is key to ensuring the ongoing success and security of your projects.

— The ChainSafe Gaming team

Web3.unity is an open-source gaming SDK developed by ChainSafe Gaming that connects games built with Unity to the blockchain. The library currently supports builds for web browsers (WebGL), iOS/Android mobile (WebWallet), and desktop (WebWallet). web3.unity is compatible with most EVM-based chains, letting developers easily choose and switch between them to create the best in-game experience.
